2008 Halloween Festivities

Ah, October... The leaves are beginning to change colors, the days are getting shorter and soon Grandview Hills will be overrun with little ghosts and goblins.
Carol Austin and Rachel Wheeler planned a great Halloween themed neighborhood block party on Saturday, October 25th. It was held on Staats between Grandview and Post from 2:30-4.
It was great to see lots of kids in their Halloween best. We decorated cupcakes and had cookies and cider (and ice water) and other treats brought along. There were also games and crafts; we lined up the kids for a neighborhood Halloween costume parade around 3:30.
Many thanks to Carol and Rachel for putting together this event.
