On Sunday, November 1st, we are planning a neighborhood litter clean- up after the Halloween holiday and before really cold weather sets in. We will meet at Post and Grandview again to organize. Let's plan on 1 p.m. since it is chilly in the morning and a lot of folks may be at church in the morning. Please think about volunteering to help pick up litter in the neighborhood. It took about 1 hour for a crew of 9 in the spring. This is a nice way to help make our neighborhood look nice.
If it is raining, we will postpone until Saturday, November 7th.

Rachel Wheeler and Carol Austin will host the 2nd annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, 1:00-2:45 p.m. at Rachel's house. Once again, the party will conclude with a neighborhood parade.
We will have Halloween themed stations around the yard for parents to accompany and assist their children. If you are interested in helping decorate, "man a station" or donate pumpkins or other items please let Rachel or Carol know. The MCCSC children are off school Thursday and Friday that week so depending on the weather we may try to decorate early.
More details later, but be sure to mark your calendars. You know this event is not only for children--bring your folding chairs, have a carmel apple & cider and catch up with everyone. After the party, let your inner-child shine by walking around the neighborhood with the kids while tooting on a kazoo (it's very therapeutic)!
Only six weeks until the big day so you better start planning your costume--what will YOU come as for the party?
